How does drain lining work?
Upon arrival we will carry out high pressure water jetting to the problematic drain to ensure it is clear of any blockages. Further CCTV inspection will be carried out. The next stage then is where our drainage engineer’s expertise and skills really do come into their own.
A flexible liner impregnated with resin will be inserted into the drain, whilst an airbag “packer” is pushed through and inflated to the size of the original pipework. The liner is then heated and cooled which cures the liner to the sides of the pipework. Once removed, further CCTV inspection is carried out and a smooth new pipe is inside the original…”Magic”.
